Webinar: Draft Regulations for Providers of Home Support Services – The Required Approach to Compliance
Webinar Overview
In June 2022, the Department of Health launched their public consultation on the Draft Regulations for the Providers of Home Support Services. These regulations set out the minimum requirements that public, private and not-for-profit providers of home support services will be required to meet to obtain a license to operate.
With this in mind, HCI held a webinar to help providers of home support services understand the draft regulations and what is required to be compliant.
The webinar covers:
- The path to regulation
- The objective of regulation within home support service
- The regulations as part of the overall regulatory framework for home support services
- Self-declaration v’s HIQA inspection
- Examples of required evidence of compliance under HIQA
