As the Director of Business Development at HCI, Louis leads growth initiatives across healthcare and regulated sectors, sitting on the Senior Leadership Team and driving adoption across acute care, community support and mental health. With more than 20 years’ experience spanning healthcare technology, pharmaceutical, patient services and regulatory compliance, Louis has a proven track record of forging long-term partnerships, scaling complex programmes, and delivering measurable impact for clients across Ireland and the UK.

Within his role, he engages with public and private healthcare organisations, including nursing homes, hospitals, home care providers and community services, helping them implement innovative digital tools that enhance patient safety, streamline onboarding and strengthen regulatory readiness. Louis is particularly focused on using AI and automation to simplify compliance for overstretched healthcare teams while improving visibility for managers and regulators alike.

Well regarded for building and growing durable relationships with clients, Louis advocates how smart policy management and performance insight systems support operational excellence and safer care. Known for his strategic vision and customer-centric mindset, Louis delivers a data-informed approach to business development that aligns commercial outcomes with improved service delivery.

Louis holds an honours Bachelor of Science degree, and Higher Diploma in Applied Science from NUI Galway, he also has a Healthcare Management Masters from the Institute of Public Administration specialising in strategic management and operational excellence in the health sector.
